Slash says he doesn't want a biopic film about Guns N' Roses to hit the big screen.

Slash enjoyed major success with the iconic rock band, and has now moved into movie producing.

While he may now be in the movie industry, he has not interest in bringing a film about the band to film.

Speaking to the Press Association, the musician said: "I would not like to see a Guns N' Roses biopic. It's really rare where you see actors portraying live musicians (well).

"I don't think rock and roll translates in the movies, I don't think they really get the gritty vibe of what it's like."

Slash set up production company Slasher Films, and kicked off his producing career with video short Gotten. He has now moved into feature film with Nothing Left to Fear.

Nothing Left To Fear was released last year and was a horror film starring Anne Heche and James Tupper.
