Paramount Pictures have revealed the first look trailer (above) for their upcoming comedy adventure film The Lost City, starring Sandra Bullock (Bird Box) and Channing Tatum (Magic Mike) in the lead roles.

Bullock stars as reclusive but renowned author Loretta Sage, who has spent her career writing about some of the most exotic places the imagination can conjure up serving as a backdrop for her handsome cover model Alan (Tatum), whose life has been spent embodying the hero ‘Dash'.

Touring to promote the release of her latest novel, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who hopes that she'll be able to help him in his hunt for an ancient lost city's treasure, which is featured in the aforementioned book.

Wanting to become a hero in the real world as well as on the pages of Loretta's books, Alan sets off to rescue her in a jungle adventure that will see the unlikely duo come together to survive the elements and indeed find the ancient treasure, before it's lost for good.

The supporting cast includes Brad Pitt (Thelma & Louise), Patti Harrison (Shrill), Oscar Nunez (The Office) and Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Only Murders in the Building).

Adam and Aaron Nee serve as directors on the film, working from a screenplay they wrote alongside Oren Uziel and Dana Fox, which was adapted from a story by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses).

A handful of first-look images dropped ahead of the trailer reveal, showcasing some of the chaos and drama we should expect when the film makes its debut on the big screen. You can check those out below:
