Paramount Pictures has recently released a new teaser for upcoming movie, The Lost City.

Sandra Bullock (Bird Box) and Channing Tatum (The Jump Street franchise) star together in this upcoming action-comedy about a man who simply wants to prove that he is more than a pretty face.

Talented author Loretta Sage (Bullock), who usually keeps to herself, has spent her career writing about lush, exciting places in her romance-adventure novels, which feature attractive cover model, Alan (Tatum).

Alan has spent years of his life embodying ‘Dash’, the character from Sage’s books, and is always trying to keep in shape so he can portray the handsome hero on the front cover.

While she is on tour with Alan promoting her latest book, Sage is kidnapped by an obnoxious billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe), who hopes that she can take him to the ancient lost city’s treasure from her new book.

Alan, however, wants to prove that he can be just as heroic in real life as in the pages of Sage’s books, so he embarks on a journey to rescue her.

From then on, the duo will need to work together in order to survive in the wilderness, and to find the lost treasure before Sage’s kidnapper gets to it first.

The TV spot gives viewers a brief, yet interesting look at The Lost City, letting audiences see what kind of a film it will be.

Bullock and Tatum may seem like an odd pair, but the 30 second clip sees them as quite the duo; they seem to bounce off each other well, which is sure to make for a hilarious feature.

We also see Brad Pitt (World War Z) for a short time; his role in the film, from the TV spot alone, is unclear, but he seems to be the heroic sort... or does he?

The images from The Lost City showcase an exciting movie with explosions, comedy, and some tense moments thrown in there for good measure; it seems this film may have more to it than meets the eye.

The Lost City will be in cinemas on April 15th, 2022.
