Toby Jones says he was pleased to be asked to reprise the role of Zola in Captain America: The Winter Solider.

Jones is currently filming the second stand alone Captain America movie and is just one of the familiar faces who will be returning.

And the actor hints as to how he might appear in the film saying that fans will not be disappointed.

Speaking to Coming Soon the actor said: "I was pleased to be brought back. I thought I might be - because you'd know better than I do - but Zola finds a way to defeat time and you won't be disappointed with the way that's been treated in the film."

Chris Evans is reprising the role of Captain America while Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson will also be reprising the roles of Black Widow and Nick Fury.

However it is all change in the director's chair as Anthony and Joe Russo take over the helm from Joe Johnston.

The movie will pick up after the events of Avengers Assemble and will see Steve Rodgers trying to adapt to his 21st Century life.

And we are going to be seeing plenty of Toby Jones this year as he is set to star in Serena as well as take on the role of Claudius Templesmith in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Captain America: The Winter Solider is released 4th April 2014.
