Tom Hardy at The Sun Military Awards
Tom Hardy has revealed that he is singing all of the time as he prepares to play Elton John in a new biopic about the singer.
Hardy was revealed as the actor who was going to take on the role in Rocketman as he is set to team up with director Michael Gracey.
When BANG asked him if he had started vocal training, Hardy said: "Oh, all the time. I'm always singing.
My favourite Elton song, I think it's 'Honky Cat'."
Elton John will have a hand in the movie as he is re-recording some of his songs for the soundtrack as well as co-producing. And Hardy reveals that the singer has been in touch with him.
"It's all sort of under the radar at the moment, to be honest, but yes, I am [talking to Elton]."
It has been a quiet film release year for Hardy, but he has been working on a string of projects.
He has completed work on Animal Rescue, Child 44 and Mad Max: Fury Road - the movie will see him take on the role of Max Rockatansky alongside Charlie Theron.
As for Rocketman no filming date or release date has yet been announced.
