It looks like Star Wars: The Force Awakens could well be another film that break the $1 billion barrier when it hits the big screen in December.
It is set to be the first Star Wars movie since Revenge of the Sith back in 2005 and I cannot wait to see J.J. Abrams take over the director's chair for the very first time.
Abrams has brought us films such as Star Trek and Super 8 and this will be his first feature since the success of Star Trek Into Darkness back in 2013... it is always exciting when an Abrams film is on the horizon because they are projects that are always shrouded in mystery.
However, a little light is set to be shone on this mystery as Empire have released two new images from the film, featuring John Boyega.
Boyega is one of the new faces on the cast list as is set to take on the role of Finn in the film. He is joined by Oscar Isaac, Simon Pegg, Daisy Ridley, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o.
Of course, we know that Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Peter Mayhew are back as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Leia, and Chewbacca.
At the moment, little is known about the story except that it is set thirty years after events in Return of the Jedi.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released 18th December.
