Vin Diesel has hinted that we could well be seeing a fourth Riddick movie.
Diesel reprised the role last autumn in Riddick; which was the first time he had taken on this character since The Chronicles of Riddick back in 2004.
Riddick has now topped the DVD chart and Riddick took to Facebook to thank the fans.
He said: "I’m just excited, and happy, and I’m shouting out to you guys to say thank you. Universal just called me and told me that Riddick is number one on the DVD charts.
"There’s no way in the world Riddick would have been made without you guys, you know that. You guys have been a part of our page since 2012 and remember how arduous a road it was to get the movie made, and to make it rated R, and to do it with such a low budget.
"It’s a win for all of us and I really, really, really, really thank you so much. Yeah, I’m excited, and of course, Universal’s also saying they want to develop the next one."
Diesel will be back on the big screen later this year as he will voice the character of Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy.
He is also set to reprise the role of Dominic Toretto in Fast & Furious 7, however, production has been halted after the sudden death of Paul Walker.
