Wonder Woman is set to be a 'strong' and 'empowered' superhero according to producer Wesley Coller.
Wonder Woman is set to return to the big screen in 2015 as she will appear in Batman vs Superman: the sequel to Man of Steel.
Gal Gadot has landed the role of Wonder Woman in the movie, and she is set to be an inspirational figure.
Speaking MLive.com, Coller said: "My daughter's favourite book is this little Wonder Woman flip book. It has the lasso, the invisible plane, the bracelets - every page has an image she's just in awe with.
"And something that's become a reality, being a dad with a new daughter, is that I have a special place in my heart for the idea of a strong, empowered female superhero being out there."
Man of Steel was a box office smash when it was released earlier this year as Superman returned for the first time since 2006.
In Batman vs Superman, Henry Cavill be returning to the role of Clark Kent, while we will be introduced to Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne for the first time.
Filming on batman vs Superman is set to get underway next year for the 2015 release.
