Yesterday (May 11th, 2022), Central City Media released the trailer for an upcoming crime drama that follows a young man as he’s stuck between making an honest living, like his parents taught him, or making quick cash and being accepted by his peers.

Yes Man stars Kieton Saunders-Browne, Keon Martial Phillip and Kirk Smith in this story of right and wrong, and the choices that we have laid out in front of us.

The forthcoming film follows Darrell (Saunders-Browne), intern at a corporate company, who doesn’t really support the white-collar culture of ‘going along to get along’.

Darrell indoctrinates himself with a bad crowd who, in some ways, mirror the tasks set for him within the world of business; however, this rotten world has an extreme sense of brotherhood, and incredibly harsh punishments for anyone who goes against instructions.

Now, Darrell realises that he is trapped between a rock and a hard place. The advice given by violent group leader, Ben (Smith), keeps Darrell thinking that there is only one path people like himself can tread.

However, his friend Ryan (Phillip), a smart and respectable hustler who has dreams of opening his own restaurant, hopes to convince Darrell of what he wants for his future, and what opportunities he really has.

His parents are constantly reminding him of how he can make an honest living, and how this will not only make him a better man, but will also keep him out of trouble.

However, these words fall on deaf ears as Darrell seems to be more focused on making fast cash and being respected by his off-beat peers than making the positive mark on the world his parents and friends know he can.

The trailer for Yes Man shows just how conflicted Darrell is, and how peer pressure and what he thinks is lack of choice can shape someone so easily.

Yes Man will be coming to all digital platforms on June 13th, 2022.
