This star has gone milestones from starting his career at eleven years old. Since his big break on High School Musical, he has starred in films back to back and now takes on in his most dynamic role in the upcoming film release of The Paperboy.

Here we take a look at Zac Efron’s best and most memorable moments of his flourishing career.

- High School Musical (2006)

Zac Efron starred in this Disney Musical as Troy Bolton, a high school jock who discovers his passion for singing while falling in love. This was a breakthrough for his career.

Most famous for his songs 'Get’cha Head in the Game' and 'Breaking Free', a duet with on film sweetheart Gabriella Montez, played by Vanessa Hudgens .

However the signing did not end here with sequels, High School Musical 2 in 2007 and High School Musical 3: Senior Year in theatres in 2008.

- Hairspray (2007)

Taking on the role as Link Larkin, Zac Efron carries out his charm through his vocals and dance moves throughout the film.

Link Larkin is the lead male dancer on The Corny Collins Show who begins to develop feelings for Tracy as she tackles the battle to put an end to racism.

- Me and Orson Welles (2009)

Based on Robert Kaplow’s novel, Efron plays a teenager living in 1937 named Richard Samuels, who has just been hired to star in a production of Julius Caesar by director Orson Welles.

As nerves arise with the night of the premiere approaching, Richard must learn to cope in his own ways, in order for the show to go on.

- 17 Again (2009)

As the title says, Mike O’ Donnell, played by Zac Efron, gets a second chance at 17 again.

After a mysterious encounter while taking a trip down memory lane, Mike finds himself re-living his youth, realizing he wouldn’t have changed a thing at all.

- The Lucky One (2012)

Zac Efron leads the film, based on Nicholas Sparks’ novel, with his role as a marine on the search for his good luck charm, an unknown woman, while serving in Iraq.

After returning to North Carolina he dedicates his life to finding the woman in a photograph, determined to meet her once and for all.

- The Paperboy (2013)

In this upcoming film full of thrill brothers Jack Jansen, played by Zac Efron, and Ward Jansen, played by Matthew McConnaughey work together to vindicate a man on death room by investigating events related to the murder for which he is convicted. They are aided by co-stars Nicole Kidman and David Oyelowo.
