Tim McGraw is set to be honoured for his fundraising efforts for women's charities.
The singer and his wife Faith Hill have helped raise cash for battered women's shelters in Tennessee and McGraw is being recognised for his contribution.
He'll receive the True Ally Award at the 2010 Men Stopping Violence annual awards dinner, which honours men who are dedicated to promoting safety and justice for women.
The gala event will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on 2 October.
