Kiss

Rock icons Kiss performed their first un-masked concert in 14 years at San Diego, California's Comic-Con on Saturday.

Bandmembers Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer shared vocal duties - standing in for absent frontman Paul Stanley - during the gig at the city's Hard Rock Cafe.

It was the first time the group had appeared onstage without their trademark black and white face paint since 1995.

KISS are currently preparing for the October release of their new album. Simmons has revealed the group are negotiating a deal with U.S. retail giant Wal-Mart to release the disc, with an entire section of each store re-branded Kiss Korner for the occasion.
