Peter Andre

Peter Andre

Peter Andre is a busy man. A new single, a new album and a new tour will keep Peter in the public eye all the way through to the end of the year.

Following his smash hit platinum album ‘Revelation’ Peter Andre returns ready to storm the charts with his seventh studio album ‘Accelerate ’- his strongest music release to date. Casting aside the US flavoured Urban and R&B path Peter releases a distinctly British album teaming up with UK music royalty.

With the UK urban scene at its greatest in recent decades Peter has teamed up with the likes of songwriter and producer Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams), songwriter and artist Taio Cruz (Cheryl Cole, Tinchy Stryder, JLS) and writer, artist and producer Labrinth (Tinie Tempah) to name but a few. The change in musical direction for Peter was a decision that has without doubt paid off with this album gaining critical acclaim and mass support already..

‘Defender’ the first single to be released from the new album entered the top 20 singles chart last week. The single showcases Peter’s new direction highlighting the effortless crossover into a more urban sound. Joining forces with new emerging talent Dantae Johnson who is undoubtedly heading for amazing success in 2011.

‘Accelerate’ gave Peter the opportunity to be involved with every aspect of the record from the production and song writing to being in a position to choose who he teamed up with in the industry – choices that many artists are not in a position to make. The album is currently sitting at number 11 in the midweek charts this week.

Speaking of the record and forthcoming tour Peter said: “I can’t wait to see what my fans think of the album and to perform the album on my national arena tour at the end of the year, it’s a really exciting time and I feel that people will get to see a different side of me with this album as It’s given me the chance to really develop as an artist.”

Peter will be starting his tour in more intimate theatres at the end of November before performing at the UK’s biggest arenas across the country starting at Birmingham LG Arena in Thursday 2nd December.
