Taking place on Clapham Common in London Saturday, July 4, the one-day event will also see Ryan Adams, The Hives and Echo and the Bunnymen take to the stage.

Live Nation's Vice President of Promotions Toby Leighton-Pope said of the booking: "We're so pleased with the Calling Festival 2015 bill. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be incredible and we're so happy to welcome the fantastic Ryan Adams, The Hives and Echo and the Bunnymen. This year is going to be huge and we look forward to seeing the crowds back in Clapham this summer."

Performing their first outdoor headline set at the festival four months following the release of their second album 'Chasing Yesterday' - available from March 2 - the Birds are expected to put on a tremendous show.

October saw the performers sell out their six-date spring tour, which is to see them visit Belfast, Dublin, Nottingham, Glasgow and Manchester before finishing in London on March 10.

Previous headliners of Calling Festival include Bon Jovi, The Killers, The Who and Eric Clapton, with more than 80,000 people flocking to the event last year to witness Aerosmith and Stevie Wonder's performances.

Tickets go on sale this coming Friday, February 6 at 9am, priced at £57.50 plus booking fee.
