Gosh, Susan Boyle doesn’t half make me proud to be British… I’ve just seen this video of her on the America’s Got Talent final yesterday night and it brought a tear to my eye.
It’s not often I cry when I watch someone sing, but I swelled up like a balloon when I saw this… mainly due to the heart-wrenching VT which preceded her performance which saw everyone snigger when she said she wanted to be a recording artist.
Susan Boyle has proven that we really shouldn’t judge people on their appearance, although I’m sure a bloke in a chicken suit isn’t going to take a music career quite as seriously as we might hope.
