Vagabond - Alex

We couldn’t invite the super hot boys in Vagabond into our office without getting them to answer some of your questions now could we?

Below are a selection of questions which the Luke, Alex and Steve took the time out to answer, see if yours is amongst them, but if not, don’t worry, we have more where that came from throughout the day!

Who are your favourite singers/groups and would you consider doing a cover of one of their tracks?

Well we actually covered a Kings Of Leon track already, but I think if we had to do another we’d do something by The Killers, I (Alex) really like Mr Brightside.

Johnny Depp, without a doubt. He’s the only one.

Luke - Well I can’t go into All Saints without spending money!

Steve - Yeah, I’d opt for Bolongaro Trevor, this jacket (a super hot jacket that he’s been wearing) is by that designer.

If you were girls what would you like your names to be?

Steve - I’d have to be Sharon I think.
Alex - Ledelle

What are you're favourite cities to play?

Leeds! We love Leeds because Luke has a really supportive family and they always come out the shows for us and it’s really great to see them all their cheering us on and singing the words!

Alex - I like Manchester, oh and Wigan, because there’s where we are now!

Steve - I like Edinburgh too. Well I can’t really say that because we’ve only been there once, but I always think it seems pretty cool.

Who have been the particular influences in your life to enable you to write such meaningful songs,(showing you are in touch with the female heart)!

Loving your music.B.x

Alex - well I write all the lyrics and quite a lot of it is influenced by my family, and my memories. Writing for me is very personal, and although it might not seem it, many of the lyrics are quite deep and meaningful - to me at least.

I know it sounds really cliché and pretentious, but to me, writing lyrics is like therapy, and it helps to be able to get all your emotions out and share them.

If you hadn’t become musicians what jobs do you think you would have now?

Alex - I would have been an actor. Well, I might be someone trying to make it as an actor… but I’d be working at it!
