Never being able to pin point a moment she fell into the music industry, Fabienne has revealed she never actually thought of herself as a singer in her younger days, despite having always sung.

Not fitting in with any of the scenes at school around the age of 14, she didn't connect with anything because what she loved was mostly before her time.

Becoming obsessed with the likes of Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin, she applied to do her work experience at 15 years old in New York City at Atlantic Records. They allowed her to intern for the summer.

This led to her taking part at open-mic nights on the live scene, and Fabienne's obsession with the feeling she got whilst singing live made her wanted to write more and more - so that's what she did.

Now having released her debut EP 'City Of Shadows' earlier this year, she's showcasing a sexy, soulful sound with an energy and kitsch edge like none other on her new single 'Sunstroke'.

Her distinctive vocal style and bold approach has already earned her support from Annie Mac, Radio 1Xtra, The Fader and more, and the coming months are nothing short of exciting for this soon-to-be star.
