Alexa Goddard is back with a brand new and faultless cover of Sam Smith's tune 'Lay Me Down'.
Dedicating the track to her father who passed away last December, she writes on her YouTube description: "Pappa, this one is for you."
She also thanks Sam Smith and Jimmy Napes "for writing such a beautiful song."
The cover comes after Alexa told us in an exclusive interview that she'd love to work with Sam Smith going forward.
"I'd love to work with Sam Smith then in terms of collaboration and duets, also India Arie, also Sam Smith, also Pharrell - so those three go for both collaborations and for duets."
Her latest single 'So There' is available now on iTunes after being released this October.
