In Monday's Daily Rap Rick Ross and Foxy Brown rumoured to be dating, Warren G arrested, Janet Jackson complains over Island Def Jam's promotion for her album and 50 Cent has tattoos removed.
New couple in Hip-Hop
Joining the league of music’s super couples such as Jay Z and Beyonce, Nelly and Ashanti, Jermaine Dupri and Janet Jackson is a new couple which has caused many raised eyebrows .
According to Hip-Hop site allHipHop.com, Rick Ross and Foxy Brown are the new couple. Ross, from Miami has had such an effect on the recently released from prison Foxy Brown that the Brooklyn rapper is considering moving down to Miami to be closer to the King of South Beach.
The two are allegedly working on music together.
Warren G arrested
G Funk pioneer Warren G, famed for his 1995 Regulate track was pulled over by police in Los Angeles over the weekend after running a red light.
The police then decided to search the vehicle and discovered a undisclosed amount of marijuana, but enough for he and passenger to be arrested and then later bailed for $20,000 each.
Janet Jackson not impressed with label
As she gears up for her first tour in seven years, Janet Jackson who released her Discipline album earlier this year has insinuated that there will be no other single promoted from the album.
The legendary singer blames a disagreement with her label, Island Def Jam over the first single Feedback. According to Ms. Jackson, because of this disagreement all promotion on the album has ceased, a decision made by the label.
This is not the first time that allegations of this sort have been made against Island Def Jam. Rappers Ghostface and LL Cool J have spoken out about the lack of promotion for their albums.
Tattoo less Curtis?
Looks like Curtis Jackson AKA 50 Cent might have made some cosmetic changes to his appearance after removing some of his legendary tattoos The Queens rapper is said to have removed some of the artwork from his arms as he takes on more acting roles.
Fellow G Unit and long time friend Tony Yayo has told people to take a look at 50’s arms the next time they see him in a recent interview.
50 Cent will be starring alongside the notorious Robert De Niro in the movie New Orleans and the up and coming Righteous Kill which has 50 Cent working along side De Niro and Al Pacino.
