Foxy Brown and Lil Kim sued

Publishing giant Simon and Schuster have filed lawsuits against Brooklyn femcess.

Lil Kim born Kimberly Jones and Foxy Brown, born Inga Merchand were advanced considerable sums of money to pen their stories for the NY based company yet as of last week, neither women had fulfilled their contractual obligations.

Clipse talk new album

Former Jive recording duo The Clipse have given Hip-Hop fans a little to think on as they recently spoke on their new album which will be delivered sometime in the winter.

The Virginia based brothers Malice and Pusha T who will release their third album ‘Till the Casket Drops’ on their new label, Columbia have called on a who’s who of producers to join them on this project.

Scott Storch, Just Blaze, Swizz Beats, Sean C and LV and even Kanye West are expected to bless the duo with production.

The Clipse will also be releasing Clipse Presents: The Re-Up Gang featuring Ab Liva and Sandman on August 5th through Koch records.

Trina involved in accident

Rapstress Trina was involved in a car accident this past weekend which left two children injured.

The Miami artist and her NBA player boyfriend Kenyon Martin who were in Belize for a basketball tournament were uninjured.

Witnesses say the police escort guiding the duo’s white excursion was overtaking other cars on a road which might have been too narrow.

Trina released her Still Da Baddest Album on April 1st this year which received great reviews from music outlets.

She and Kenyon Martin who plays for the Denver Nuggets have been dating since around Christmas time.

Diddy not getting married

Rumors circulated last week that mogul Sean Combs was planning to tie the knot with Bad Boy recording artist Cassie.

However reps for Combs have vehemently denied these rumors saying that the stories which flooded the net last week were ‘pure fabrication.’

Sean Combs broke up with long time girlfriend last year, Kim Porter who he has three children with and has been linked to various female celebs including Sienna Miller, Danity Kane singer Aubrey and of course Cassie.

In Diddy related news , the first episode of his show ‘I want to work for Diddy’ will air on VH1 on August 4th.

The show gives 13 hopefuls the opportunity to work along side the rapper/producer/mogul in the role of personal assistant.
