In today's daily rap we hear of the sad loss of one of the greatest influences in Urban music; Isaac Hayes, Mike Jones' show ends in chaos, and Rick Ross find himself with more problems whilst on a happier note, DMX is working on a new album.

Isaac Hayes found Dead

Possibly one of the most influential musicians in urban music, Isaac Hayes was found dead at his home yesterday by a family member.

The man who created the infamous Shaft theme had collapsed after allegedly working on a treadmill and was pronounced dead at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Hayes started his impressive career in music as a session player for the legendary Stax records based in his home state of Tennessee

Mike Jones show ends in chaos

What should have been a great night in a Texas club ended in a variety arrests after Texas rapper Mike Jones failed to show up to perform at the packed out crowd at Club Bikini.

Over 15 people were cited with various misdemeanor charges and four arrests were made after a brawl erupted when concert goers were informed that Jones was not actually going to be appearing as scheduled.

No information has become available as to why Mike Jones failed to show up at the event.

Rick Ross faces more problems

As if his life could get any worse as rumors have flooded the internet about his former employment, rapper Rick Ross is facing the courts over unpaid child support for his two year old son, William Leonard Roberts III.

The mother of the child Tiallondra Kemp is insisting that the rapper take a paternity test to prove that he is the Father and then pay the outstanding child support he allegedly owes.

Legal representation for Ross insists that he is already taking care of supporting the child as well as paying medical bills for him.

New album for DMX

He might be constantly in the media for his various arrests but a new album from DMX is definitely in the works.

According to Elite a producer who has tracks on the album, it is not the gospel album that people are indicating.

The album titled Walk with me Now, Fly With Me Later which will be released on Bodog Records is expected to hit shelves in October is to bring DMX born Earl Simmons back into the spotlight in a positive way.
