Guillemots

Guillemots have sold out another gig in super-fast time, following their brilliant January show at the Old Shoreditch Station, which sold out in just four minutes!

Tickets were made available through the Guillemots’ website, Communion and exclusively through Ents24, and it took a mere ten minutes until all of them had been nabbed by eager fans.

The show will take place at a secret London location and promises to be even bigger and better than their last.

As well as classic material, the band will be previewing tracks from their brand new album, ‘Walk the River’, due for release on April 18th.

It’s been almost three years the release of the Guillemots’ last album, the acclaimed ‘Red’, but finally the band are back and on excellent form.

The band recorded ‘Walk the River’ with producer David Kosten (Bat for Lashes, Everything Everything) at Bryn Derwen Studios, a converted country manor in the mountains of North Wales.

The sessions gave birth to a startling marriage of melody and atmosphere where layers of harmony and other-worldly instrumentation give way to fragile songs of hope and loss.

The first single to be taken from the album comes in the shape of the freewheeling chaos of ‘The Basket’, available to download from March 13th, with an impact date of April 11th.
