Gorillaz are back at the top of the European album charts, scoring their third number one with Plastic Beach.

The band, led by former Blur frontman Damon Albarn, have snagged number ones in Europe with each of their three albums so far.

The new release debuts at the top of countdowns in Denmark and Austria and scores number two placings in the band's native United Kingdom, France and Switzerland.

Sade's Soldier of Love falls to two on the new chart, while Amy Macdonald's album A Curious Thing rounds out the new top three. Meanwhile, Ke$ha reclaims the top spot in the European Hot 100 Singles with TiK ToK. It's the sixth week the party track has been on top.
