2006 was a busy year all around, with her song “Breathe Me” featured in the unforgettable final scene of the Six Feet Under series finale. The US release of her album Colour The Small One saw Sia cited by Rolling Stone as one of “10 Artists To Watch” and she was called “…as soothing as an aromatherapy candle” by People magazine.Last year’s Zero 7 album, ‘The Garden’, which features Sia’s vocals on half the tracks, was also nominated for a Grammy, narrowly missing out only to Madonna. 2006 saw Sia touring the US and Europe with both her solo material and with Zero 7. She also found time to direct the video for her new song, “Pictures”, and was nominated for an mtvU Woodie Award for “Breathe Me” in the “Favorite International Artist” category.

Sia is currently back in the studio recording her next solo album in LA. Expect an autumn release in the UK along with a series of live shows. 2007 is shaping up to be another exciting one for Sia. Over 5 million MySpace plays are just an indication of the ever growing buzz surrounding one of the most innovative and interesting female solo artists of our time. Sia
