Scheduled for November 3rd, 'We Can Breathe In Space, They Just Don't Want Us To Escape', the single is the first new recording by the band since June 2007.

A drastic re-working of a song originally demoed by the band way back in the mists of time (though popular amongst fans thanks to file sharing and P2P sites), 'We Can Breathe In Space...' will not necessarily be included on the band's second album (due to begin recording directly after the tour, and provisionally slated for Spring 2009) but is rather to be taken more as a stand alone bit of fun.

'We Can Breathe In Space...' was produced by Andy Gray, who has worked with the likes of Radiohead, U2, Gary Numan and Korn.

Enter Shikari are also embarking on a new tour which will see them returning to / visiting for the first time some of the smaller towns traditionally less visited by major tours. Towns such as Manchester, Wolverhampton and Glasgow saw more than enough of the band in 2007, so a decision was made to spread the love in other areas... and lo it came to pass Enter Shikari will find themselves in Llandudno on a Sunday night in October.

Joining the band on their trip around the regions will be...

Pdex - D'n'B mixmaster extraordinaire. well versed in the art of 'getting the party started'. Brother of Enter Shikari guitarist Rory Clewlow. the wheels of steel are in safe hands and a good time is guaranteed for all.

Fell Silent - progressive metal sextet from Milton Keynes.

Maximum the Hormone - all the way from Tokyo, Japan (where they are one of the biggest - if not THE biggest - rock bands in the country). these dates will be their first UK shows. They took Enter Shikari on tour in Japan in January 2008. The least we can do is return the favour.

An Albatross - psychedelic-hardcore-progressive-rock from Pennsylvania, USA.

Saving Aimee - unashamedly pop quintet from St Albans. their first ever tour was with Enter Shikari in Jan 2007, and they also done the Astoria NME show this Feb just gone. The proverbial 'bad penny', here they are turning up again.

Flood of Red - bonny lads from Scotland.
