In 2007 brothers Peter and Alex formed  'The Sea' they did it for one reason, FUN! To impress no-one but themselves and never try and chase industry approval or the mythical record contract! Take what comes to you and have a fucking blast!

They started the band up as a little idea in their parents garage last year - since then they have played at the Brixton Academy as well as a strin of summer Festivals in the UK and Europe and a recent tour of the U.S. and Supported along the way 'The Enemy' - 'New Young Pony Club' - 'Rumble Strips' - 'Julliette and The Licks' - 'Good Shoes'  and many others...

The Sea's new single 'Don't You Want Me' is a combination of traditional blues versus their guttural emphatic harmonies kick your ears into touch in the opening collision of the track.

Influences such as MC5, The White Stripes and a smattering of Stooges jostle for attention as the boys put pedal to metal. Punk and blues crash together with a fresh punk vibe. Digital Release via Lusty Records 7th July - Limited Edition 7" Out 21st July 2008.

The track is taken from the duo’s forthcoming debut album, currently being mixed by legendary John Cornfield (Muse / Razorlight / Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong).
