Whenever my mum has a few too many vodka and oranges, she's always far too keen to get on a karaoke machine and wail along to some classic ABBA hits… but now it looks as though she might just be able to sing along to ABBA live (!) after rumours of a reunion have surfaced….
Despite turning down $1Billion to reunite for a 100-date world tour a decade ago, it seems the bands big problem Agnetha Faltskog (the blonde one) - who moved to an island near Stockholm to live incognito(ish) when the band broke up in 1982 - could now be solved.
Yes, so she might have once been married to fellow ABBA bandmate Bjorn Ulvaeus and probably didn't want to go off touring the world with her ex, but now, in an interview with a Swedish magazine, she is quoted as saying of a potential reunion that, "I just feel it would be fun to meet, chat about the old days and perform together.
"We would not get together for a tour like the Rolling Stones and other old bands do. I think we would all consider a one-off reunion, maybe for a good good cause."
So, charity ABBA reunion anyone? Oh my, I'm too excited for words!
