Jonas Altberg “Basshunter” has been accused of attacking two women at Kitty’s in Kirkcaldy, Fife after he performed on 9 December.
The offence is unspecified however under Scotland’s Sexual Offences Act.
He has been released on bail but will appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in January 2011.
Fife Constabulary spokesman said: “ Police in Fife can confirm that a 25-year-old man has been arrested in relation to alleged offences committed at Kitty's, Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy, and has been bailed to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in due course.”
Basshunter’s manager, Scott Simons has however insisted the allegations are: “untrue”.
