Deborah Harry regrets being flush with money

Deborah Harry regrets not being more careful with her money.

The Call Me singer wishes she had looked after her money when she made it big, as her heavy spending cost her a fortune and her home.

The punk icon, now 66, went through millions in her heyday and now regrets not being more careful with her cash.

Her wake-up call came in the early 90s when she found out she owed 'the tax man' millions.

She tells The Globe: "I had to sell our house and the rest of the band was left with nothing."

But she confesses she should have seen it coming: "We knew we didn't have a handle on it (cash) and knew that cash was flying away into nowhere.

"I should have done a crash course in accounting."
