Sugababes

The Sugababes future has been hanging in the balance ever since Amelle Berrabah claimed that Keisha Buchanan was bullying her, and now it seems that Keisha has been forced to leave the group.

The last founding member of the UK girl band walked out on her band mates last night amidst rumours that she had been forced out and vowing not to let this be the last of her.

After the news broke, Keisha took to her Twitter page for a rant; "Dear Friends, I'm sad to say that I am no longer a part of the Sugababes. Although it was not my choice to leave, it's time to enter a new chapter in my life. I have nothing but positive things to say about the girls.

"I would like to state that there were no arguments, bullying or anything of the sort that led to this. Sometimes a breakdown in communication and lack of trust can result in many things. I would also like to point out that I have always supported the girls and they have supported me."

So, this leaves the Sugabes with yet another new line up, but having weathered one split in 2001 when Siobhan Donaghy quit and again when Mutya Buena left in 2005 the question is whether new member Jade Ewan can complete the final line-up.

Whilst the initial rumour was that Eurovision star Jade Ewan was going to be Amelle Berrabah’s replacement, it looks as though Amelle is staying put, and Jade will join her and Hedi Range to complete the line-up.

A statement from Sugababes confirmed: "The current line-up has disbanded. Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah will continue as the Sugababes and will be joined by Jade Ewen. They release their album, Sweet 7, on November 23. Keisha will continue to record for Island Records as a solo artist."
