Lyfe Jennings has been ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend, after she was granted a restraining order against the star.The 35-year-old singer, real name Chester Jennings, has been accused by Joy Bounds - the mother of two of his children - of burning her clothes and shoes, shutting down her electricity and threatening to kill.According to papers filed at Georgia's Fulton County Superior Court earlier this month, Bounds claimed Jennings had also threatened her over the phone and via text message, and had changed the locks on her home changed while she was out of town.In the documents, Bounds further alleges, "He has told me that if he can't have me, nobody can."The restraining order was approved by Judge Karen Woodson last week. Under the court order, Jennings must not attempt to contact Bounds or come within 200 yards (182 meters) of her or their two kids, aged three years, and 22 months.The singer has also been ordered to pay $5,000 (£3246) in monthly child support payments, in addition to providing Bounds with several items of furniture and electronic devices, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.The former couple is due back in court on 6 November, when the judge will determine whether the restraining order should remain in place. This is the second time Jennings has hit the headlines in the last week. He was arrested on 22 October after allegedly shooting a gun before speeding away from police.

He was charged with weapon possession by a convicted criminal and faces further charges of attempting to elude officers, firing a gun near a public highway and refusing to take a police DUI (drinking under influence) test.
