Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson is being ever the dramatist after announcing that he is planning his retirement, insisting at 35 he's getting too old to perform live… well that’s Bono, Slash and a whole hose of other stars out of a job then.

After helping launch the singing careers of Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen, the superproducer launched his band The Business Intl earlier this year, but Ronson has revealed he's struggling with stage fright and has decided he's too old to be a live artist.

He says, "I get nervous before I go on stage because I'm not a born performer. I only started playing guitar three years ago and I only started singing, like, yesterday. I'm 35. I'm probably in the last five years of performing on stage. That's the ideal".

Oh Mark, get real and stop fishing for compliments… there are a load of old boys out there who've been at it since they were mere teenagers.
