MEL B has hinted at a move back to Britain leaving her life in Los Angeles behind.

  The former Spice Girl relocated to the U.S. in 2003 with her daughter, Phoenix Chi, from her marriage to ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar, and went on to have a baby with Eddie Murphy.
 
  She is now married to Producer Stephen Belafonte and is expecting her third child with him. Since the spice girls split in 2000, Mel B has been busy focusing on a solo career as well as juggling life as a mum
 
  Mel joined the refom of the girl power group in 2007 but soon left in 2009 and has been working hard preparing for Viva Forever, the Spice Girls musical.
 
 She has hinted that she is negotiating work commitments which would see her move back to the U.K as well as being considered
 
  for reality TV show the X Factor in the UK, replacing Cheryl Cole. Mel was originally tipped to replace Sharon Osbourne in 2008 but was sidelooked for Cheryl. In a radio interview
 
  Mel let slip that she may be returning to the UK for the X Factor however later retracted her statment saying,

"I don’t think I was meant to say that. I’m in so much trouble."

Mel has also expressed her plans to bring her children up in Leeds for a while telling UK Celebrity Journalist Dean Piper. "They’ve been to Leeds before but I think it could be great for them...

I'm considering things right now but I'm open to returning and there's lots coming up that could bring me back to the U.K. for a while.

So if that happens it would be the perfect opportunity to get them into a good school and for us to have some time over here."
