Pete Doherty - the man I feel ever so sorry for since he won me over during a game of football in Preston - is going to be questioned by the police over the death of his ex-girlfriend Robin Whitehead.
To explain the football match first, Pete was playing a gig at the bar I worked in and we just hit if off, BFF’s for almost 12 hours you know… anyway, the 27-year-old heiress to the famous Goldsmith family was discovered dead by a friend at an East London flat where Doherty once lived.
And whilst the Babyshambles singer has denied being anywhere near the flat on the day that she died, a witness has reported seeing him there in the early afternoon, so the police want to haul him in for questioning.
Whilst there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the cause of Robin's death as she died from a drug overdose, the police are still seeking to determine who supplied her with the lethal substances, and are hoping Pete might be able to shed some light on it all.
