Red Hot Chili Peppers enjoy private feast before gig

The Red Hot Chili Peppers were treated to a feast before playing a recent London gig.

The called in a top chef from a nearby restaurant to cook their favourite meals.

The rockers played at the UK capital's Koko venue ealier this month and their management contacted the head chef at Camden's Gilgamesh restaurant to make their dishes.

Cook Ian Pengelley tells the Daily Mirror: "I was in the middle of cooking for 300 restaurant customers when I took the call.

"We were already flat out with orders, but we still managed to rustle up a feast for the guys."

Frontman Anthony Kiedia and the band ate the meals which included stir fried spicy Asian greens, jasmine rice and black cod.
