Adele's latest album '25' has gone Diamond in the US, with the artist following in the footsteps of Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.

The record has managed to sell over 10 million certified units in the country alone since its November 2015 release, according to the Recording Industry Association of America, AKA the RIAA.
The lead single from '25', 'Hello', has also been certified as seven times Platinum in the US.
This is the second time Adele has gone Diamond in America, after she went Diamond with 2011 album '21' in November 2012, almost two years after its initial release in 2011.
Her debut album '19' hasn't achieved Diamond status in the country, but was certified at triple Platinum following its release.
