Benson Boone wants to obtain a pilot's license to celebrate his chart success

The TikTok sensation - who was signed by Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds to his Night Street Records label - has just achieved dizzying heights of success after the tune reached number one in Australia, Austria, Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and his next goal is to skydive and learn how to fly a plane.

Benson is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper's Wired column as saying: "I wanna get my skydiving licence. I am trying to get more and more licences, like I got my scooter licence, I wanna get my pilot's licence."

When he's coming down from the high of performing to huge crowds, Benson likes to play a popular card game.

Asked how he chills out after a concert, he replied: "A game of Uno."

Benson has just announced his debut album, ‘Fireworks and Rollerblades’, which will arrive on April 5.

As well as 'Beautiful Things', the collection will feature the previously released singles, 'Slow It Down’, 'Ghost Town' and 'In the Stars'.

He's also embarking on a world tour in support of the LP, which kicks off on April 2 in Chicago, before heading to Europe and the UK.

The 21-year-old American singer-songwriter previously admitted his "life has changed dramatically" since he released 'Beautiful Things' in January.

He told Dig!: “My life has changed dramatically since the song came out.

“Beautiful Things was the first time that I really made proper goals for the song to come out, and now that they have been fulfilled, I can fulfill other goals. It’s so, so, so insane to me that that is happening. I’m trying so hard to formulate words. I have so much trouble processing it all right now, because I’m trying to stay on top of it and make this moment bigger than just Beautiful Things. But when I sit back and look at what’s happening, it really, truly blows my mind. Because it’s something a lot of people dream of, and [I’m] one of those people.”
