Becky Tong's "passion" for music came from watching her father Pete Tong.

The 24-year-old DJ admits her own tastes are "quite different" from her famous dad's but seeing his own career behind the decks did have an influence on her aspirations.

Asked if Pete's career influenced her decision to DJ, she told BANG Showbiz: "I think it would be silly to say it didn't have some kind of effect but I definitely came to it on my own and the love I had for music growing up.

"My taste in music is quite different from my dad's. I am super into hip hop / R&B but the passion definitely started from seeing how he reacted to great records."

Becky insists she doesn't feel the "pressure" of having such a famous father as her own ambitions are different.

She said: "I have different goals [to my dad] as to where I want to end up and there are natural pressures that come with that."

Becky will be behind the decks at Moët & Chandon's Now or Neverland party in London on Saturday (11.06.16) and has fond memories of quaffing champagne with her dad while he was working.

She said: "My dad loves the champers so I have some fond memories of drinking it with him in the DJ booth!"

Moët & Chandon's Now or Neverland party marks the first ever champagne spray moment - when racing driver, Dan Gurney won the 24 hours of Le Mans race, popped a bottle of Moët & Chandon and momentously sprayed it in celebration, creating history.

Tickets to 'Now or Neverland' are available to purchase from www.moet.com and Event Brite.
