The 'Mercy' singer - who is set to appear in Tom Hardy's new movie 'Legend' - sent fans into meltdown over the weekend after she quietly dropped her new track 'Whole Lot Of Love' via her Facebook account.

The song, which marks the blonde beauty first single since 'Well Well Well' in 2010, will also feature as one of the three tracks on the soundtrack to the new crime thriller, Legend.

The Welsh star - whose full name is Aimee Ann Duffy - took to her social networking sites last week to tease fans about a possible new single, before dropping it two days later.

Duffy shot into the music scene in 2008 with her hit singles 'Rockferry' and 'Mercy', with the latter climbing into the charts worldwide.

In 2010, she release her second album 'Endlessly' but after it received criticism, she decided to take an extended hiatus.

Over the past four years, the star has turned her attention to her acting career but is seemingly determined to incorporate her love of music back into her life.

'Legend', which sees the singer portray Timi Yuro, is out in cinemas now.
