Ella Henderson, James Morrison and Beverly Knight were amongst the performers for Save The Children’s charity bash last week and helped the charity raise over a £1million.

Taking place at London’s The Roundhouse last Wednesday (February 20th), ‘A Night Of Funk and Soul’ was presented by Jonathon Ross and saw a charity auction accompanied by several performances throughout the evening. The X Factor contestant was one of the artists to take the 500 guests on the musical journey.

From legendary guitarist Nile Rodgers, who’s most recently been working with French electro superstars Daft Punk, to Lemar, the stars were out to play for a good cause.

The evening was completed though with an auction, which saw one-off items for under the hammer like a juke box including a bespoke playlist by Nick Angel go for £40,000 and a Marc Quinn sculpture going to Helena Bonham-Carter for £50,000, the highest priced item at the show.

The event, which was hosted by Bonham-Carter, Tim Burton and the charity’s chairman Alan Parker raised over £1.3 million pounds on the night.
