Attorneys for Kesha are now looking to overturn a decision from a judge which dismissed her hopes for an injunction which would void her recording contract with Dr. Luke and Sony.

Accusing the producer of subjecting her to sexual, physical and mental abuse throughout the years they worked together, Kesha wants her recording contract with Sony Music and its subsidiary Kemosabe Records to be terminated entirely.

Lawyer Mark Geragos said: "The Court's ruling requiring Kesha to work for Gottwald's companies, purportedly without his involvement...

"As the Court itself recognised, 'It's slavery.' You can't do that."

Geragos also says major damage could be done to Kesha's career for as long as she continues to work under Dr. Luke, explaining: "Kesha submitted affidavits by individuals with over 100 years of collective personal experience in the music industry, each of whom attested to the fact that a young pop star's fame will fade quickly, and permanently, due to a loss of momentum."

No date has yet been given for when the judge will rule on the new motion.

Dr. Luke has denied all allegations made against him by Kesha and he, along with Sony claim that she is able to work under her current contract with different producers and artists.
