The former Oasis frontman has teased fans that "it won't be long" until his new LP, titled 'As You Were', comes out and spilled he was off to the French capital on Monday (20.03.17) to create the sleeve art for the record.

In a Twitter post to his 1.49 million followers, he said: "Of to Paris to do album cover it won't be long yeah yeah yeah LG x (sic)"

The Songbird' hitmaker's revelation follows a busy spree of tweets in which he called out his older brother and former bandmate Noel Gallagher for being a "fake".

In the course of his various posts, the 44-year-old rocker teased that his first single is "called 'Not For Sale' but his tweet could have been another jibe aimed at Noel, 49.

Liam launched his Twitter tirade after photos emerged of Noel back in their hometown of Manchester wearing a Stone Island jacket, an Italian men's fashion label long associated with football 'casuals'.

He tweeted: "See the fake bombing about in his stone island again coz he's in manc he'll be back in his Prada 1st thing tmorrow LG X ... It doesn't have to be that way LG X ... No seriously don't know how you stand the pain LG X (sic)"

Liam also boasted that his fans are going to "freak out" when they hear his new songs.

He tweeted: "To the people who dig what I'm about I know you'll freak out as its proper to the people who hate what I'm about I hope it sends you mad LG (sic)"

Liam and Noel have been at loggerheads since 2009 when the guitarist quit the band after a backstage bust-up with his younger sibling before they were due to take to the stage to headline a festival in Paris.

The fact the 'Cigarettes and Alcohol' singer has chosen the city to shoot his album cover could be a nod to the infamous fight, during which he tried to hit Noel over the head with a guitar.
