Max George is eager to fulfill his other ambitions.

The Wanted singer, whose band announced they are taking a temporary break to "pursue personal endeavours" after completing their upcoming 'Word of Mouth Tour,' hopes to achieve success on his own and asked his fans to continue to support him amid rumours he is planning to carve out a career in Hollywood.

The 25-year-old star, who was first spotted attending an acting audition in Los Angeles last July, wrote on Twitter: "Hey guys, so I know the news today was a big thing, but let me tell you this is not the END.

"It's the right time for myself and the other boys to have some time to try and achieve other things in our lives and careers

"And I hope I see you all with me in my own ventures."

But Max also echoed his bandmate Tom Parker's comments that the group will reunite in the future.

He tweeted: "I love you all very much, and I will say it again, this is NOT the END."

Max previously confessed he would leave the group if he was offered the right film role.

He said: "If they offer me millions of pounds, I'd say, 'See ya later, boys.' "

Meanwhile, Nathan Sykes insisted that no one person is to blame for the split.

He posted the following message on Instagram: "Thank you to everyone for all your lovely messages. We have had the most fun and every moment is down to you guys! However, I must take this moment to say that nobody is to blame for any decision we have come to and we are so grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way. I can't wait for the tour to celebrate everything The Wanted have achieved and to see you all in the future. Much love."

The 'Glad You Came' hitmakers formed in 2009 and the group also features members Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran.
