The former Fifth Harmony member took to her social media pages to share the bold cover for her the upcoming record, featuring her flying on a giant black rocket in a vinyl chain bikini.

She captioned the cover on Instagram: "cryingg typing this (right now). DOPAMINE THE ALBUM. (sic)"

Although there are no further details, including a release date, it's expected to drop this year, according to a countdown timer on her website www.wheresthedamnalbum.com.

Last August, the 27-year-old star joined a new management company, after she parted ways with S10 Entertainment’s Brandon Silverstein in May.

A representative for the star told Rolling Stone: “With new music on the horizon, and Asrat and Creed now at the helm of her musical career, she and the rest of her team are extremely excited to embark on this new chapter and partnership.

“She wishes Silverstein all the best.”

The singer previously vowed not to release her new album until she feels ready.

Normani - who enjoyed chart success with her 2019 single 'Motivation' - explained on the 'Today' show: "Everybody says, 'Oh, well, she should've dropped her album during 'Motivation', which to everybody from an outside perspective seemed like the perfect time. But for me, I was just coming out of the group and I needed to figure out what I wanted my sound to sound like."

By taking her time, she's been able to work out what's important to her.

She explained: "I needed to figure out what I wanted to talk about and what was important to me. And I've had the time to do that. So this will really be an introduction to who I really am."

Meanwhile, Ally Brooke previously denied that the chart-topping girl group are set to reunite for a new album or a tour, but she did reveal that members of the band have recently reconnected with each other.

Ally - who completed the group alongside Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello - wrote on X: "I'm thrilled to see there's a lot of interest surrounding Fifth Harmony.

"Reunion has many meanings and while there's no official band reunion happening at the moment, some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way.
