Ryan Tedder - OneRepublic frontman and hugely successful singer-songwriter and producer - has been named the top writer of the last quarter in America.
The news comes from Billboard, who say Tedder reacher the hotspot between October and December 2013 thanks to 'Counting Stars' - his band's hit which he wrote alone - and his co-credits on Maroon 5's 'Love Somebody' and Ellie Goulding's 'Burn'.
Music Week and Official Charts Company also recently included Tedder at number four on their UK top songwriters list, after 'Counting Stars' became OneRepublic's first UK umber one single, reaching the top of the charts twice in October and becoming the ninth biggest selling single of 2013.
OneRepublic's UK tour begins March 16 at London's Roundhouse, and their new single 'Losing Myself' is available now on iTunes.
