Rita Ora performing at the Xperia Access from Sony launch at Sony Music's HQ

Rita Ora didn't sleep for "48 hours" before performing a gig in London last night (18.06.13).

The 22-year-old singer took to the stage at Sony Music's HQ for the Xperia Access launch shortly after arriving from Los Angeles, California, and despite insisting she didn't look the part, the blonde beauty put on a scintillating performance of hits including 'Shine Ya Light' and 'R.I.P'.

She told the crowd: "I haven't slept for about 48 hours but who cares. I came straight off a flight and headed straight here. I've barely had any time to do my hair and my make up, so I apologise."

Fans flocked from all over Britain for the special intimate gig, during which Rita paid tribute to her dedicated supporters and said she is excited about the release of her as-yet untitled second album later this year.

She said: "This past year has really changed me, it's been the most surreal time. It's pretty awesome.

"The second album I'm going to release is something can't wait to show you guys. I'm really excited.

"I used to listen to so much music and I know my first album was an introduction of me to you guys and it's more than an honour that you guys have given attention to it, so thank you for that."

The blonde star - who was wearing a red patterned dress with black heels - got her nine-song set off to a perfect start with her two most recent singles 'Radioactive' and 'Facemelt' before going on to perform an acoustic cover of OutKast's 2003 hit 'Hey Ya!'.

Following an energetic rendition of 'Shina Ya Light', Rita signed off with 'Roc Da Life', and her first two singles 'How We Do' and 'R.I.P'.

During the finale, Rita invited fans onto the stage to dance and sing with her.
