The self-titled debut album, set for release on March 12th 2007After signing to Simon Cowell's label Syco Music, Ray Quinn’s self-titled debut album will be released on the 12th of March 2007. This beautiful album is a collection of Ray’s favourite tracks, featuring songs originally performed by legends such as Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and the chairman, Frank Sinatra. ‘Ray Quinn’ is the perfect opportunity for the man himself to showcase his talents. Ray has waited to perform songs from the bourbon filled years, when the Rat Pack used to hang out and perform in Vegas, all his life. The album itself consists of thirteen tracks, eight of which Ray performed on The X-Factor series and due to incredible audience demand they are included on his album. All the classics are there such as ‘My Way’, ‘Ain’t That A Kick In The Head’, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and ‘That’s Life’ which Ray sang with the record breaking Westlife on The X Factor Final. On the album Ray fully captures the spirit and image of that unique time with immaculately tailored suits and his trademark quiff. “I was born in the wrong era really,” he laughs. “I’m probably the only 18 year old in Liverpool who knows so much about that kind of music. Instead of blasting out dance music in my car, I’ll have a swing tune turned up loud! Everything about it is so cool.”Ray recorded the album in LA, parts of it at the legendary Capitol Studios where the iconic Frank Sinatra created some of his most memorable music. Ray gives exceptional performances throughout the album and has further developed as an artist since his success in The X Factor series. Ray has been given the chance of a lifetime as he’s not only recorded his album in LA but has shot the video in both LA and Las Vegas. The album and the video are both so authentic and really pay homage to the Rat Pack era and everything it represents. “I had to pinch myself,” Ray admits. “To be able to make any album would have been an amazing opportunity, but to record the sort of songs I grew up listening to is just unbelievable. I honestly feel so lucky.” Ray can stop pinching himself now as his debut album ‘Ray Quinn’ will be released on March 12th and is set to storm all the way to the No.1 spot on Mothers Day. Gennaro Castaldo, Head of Press + PR for HMV quoted: "Ray may have just missed out to Leona, but he won our hearts with his charismatic performances on The X Factor and made lots of fans in the process. His debut album must have every chance of making it to No,1, particularly as its release coincides with Mother's Day - now one of the biggest gifting periods in the Music Industry calendar.  There'll certainly be lots of mums secretly hoping to receive a copy."

After four million people voted for Ray in the highest rated final of The X Factors history and six million votes across the series, he is keen to carry on with his amazing success. “I’m going to grab this amazing opportunity with two hands and enjoy every minute,” he promises. “I’m ready to work hard and go all out to let people hear my album so they can make up their own mind. I’m a very determined person and I’ll do whatever it takes, because I still can’t believe I have this chance. I’m honestly having the time of my life.”
