Scouting For Girls have been nominated for ‘British Breakthrough Act’, ‘British Single’ for Heartbeat, and ‘British Live Act’ at the Brit Awards 2009 launch party in London.

Scouting For Girls, who performed ‘She’s So Lovely’ and ‘Heartbeat’ live at the Roundhouse launch, achieved double-platinum status with their number 1 selling eponymous debut album, and performed to over 500,000 fans in 2008.

Vocalist Roy Stride: “We’re thrilled to be nominated for three Brit Awards, and its two years to the day since we signed our record deal. This is all down to our fans, so we want to thank them by giving away a free EP.

“This is also a massive thank you to all those that were making such a noise on our recent UK tour. We said they needed to give us their loudest voices for ‘Keep On Walking’, and they did that on every song we played so we thought this would make a nice momento of those parties.”

The free download-only EP will be made available on the band’s official website from 9th March.
