With the Holiday week-end upon us, one story in today's Daily Rap doesn’t really come as a surprise, TI wants a change of location, Drake denies Rihanna rumors and Kanye compares today's stars to yesterdays.

Lil Wayne Pushed Back Again

Cash Money front man Lil Wayne has had his rock debut pushed back yet again. The Rebirth which features an appearance by Fall Out Boy and which also  sees Weezy collaborate with Avril Lavigne is now slated for a later July release.

The album which was expected on shelves in April has been pushed back numerous times now but Universal/Cash Money announced this week that fans can expect to see the project in stores no later than July 21st.

TI Looks for Something a Little Closer

After being sentenced to serve his one year and a day in a penitentiary in Arkansas, TI born Clifford Harris is hoping to find somewhere to serve his time a little closer to his Atlanta, Georgia home.

The rapper allegedly filled in forms yesterday requesting that his jail time be delayed until he can be placed somewhere closer to his common law wife and children.

TI was sentenced earlier this year after attempting to purchase firearms from an undercover agent back in 2007.

Drake Says No Romance with Rihanna

After a NY tabloid said that the new golden boy of Hip-Hop, Lil Wayne protégé Drake was coupled up with Rihanna this week in a New York nightclub, the rapper has spoken out about the rumours on Hot 97, an NYC radio station.

 "It's not like that at all. I'm being honest. She's just a friend, that's all. A great artist. There's nothing romantic at all. I have the most respect for her. I think she's so talented," the Toronto based rapper explained after it had been splashed all over the internet that he and the Disturbia singer had been inseparable.

Rihanna has been linked with various celebrities and entertainers since her unfortunate break up with Chris Brown earlier this year.

A Who’s Who According to Kanye West

Chicago producer Kanye West posted an interesting story on his blog this week which shed some light on just who he sees as the icons of the current music world.

Comparing Beyonce to Tina Turner and Justin Timberlake to Michael Jackson, the producer also stated that he believer Lady Gaga was destined to be the new age Madonna.

Kanye also said Lil Wayne was the modern day Jimi Hendrix and his label boss Jay Z was comparable to Frank Sinatra. Kanye failed to mention who he himself is the carbon copy of however.
