Fraudster Cashing In On Lil Wayne & Drake's Success

Rappers Lil Wayne and Drake have been targeted by a bogus concert promoter who poses as their manager Cortez Bryant and takes bookings for them.

The hip-hop stars have been enjoying a wave of success following their popular America's Most Wanted Music Festival tour over the summer (09) and one fraudster has been attempting to cash in by posing as the boss of Bryant Management.

Representatives for Lil Wayne and his protege Drake have issued a warning to music industry professionals alerting them to the conman's existence.

A statement from their spokesperson reads: "It has come to light that an individual has been impersonating Bryant Management CEO Cortez Bryant for financial gain through false bookings of his clients, specifically the much buzzed about recording artist Drake.

"The impostor has created bogus twitter (such as twitter.com/Tezpoe) and email accounts (such as lilwaynebooking@gmail) in Bryant’s name which he then utilizes to secure and pocket deposits for false bookings and club appearances."

Police have been called in to catch the fraudster and an investigation has been launched.

The rep adds: "Bryant Management... is fully cooperating with the investigation and confident that the individual will be apprehended in a timely manner."

Fox Makes Up With 50

Actress Vivica A. Fox has put her bitter split from 50 Cent behind her - the pair was spotted chatting on the set of the video for his forthcoming single.

Fox enjoyed a brief romance with 50 Cent in 2003, but the In Da Club hitmaker dumped her during a radio interview when photos of the pair from a private shoot appeared on the cover of a magazine without his approval.

The Independence Day star publicly bashed her ex after they parted ways, branding his handling of the split "ghetto love".

But is seems all is forgiven - Fox was seen visiting the rapper on the set of the promo for new track Governors Island, according to the New York Post's gossip column PageSix.

A source tells the publication, "They were very cordial and friendly. I guess the animosity has faded."

Juvenile Chokes Up Over Daughter's Murder

Rapper Juvenile is still struggling to come to terms with the devastating death of his four-year-old daughter, 21 months after her murder.

The hip-hop star, real name Terius Gray, was left in shock when little Jelani, his ex-girlfriend Joy Deleston and her other daughter Micaiah were fatally shot by Deleston's 17-year-old son, Anthony Terrell Jr., in February 2008.

Juvenile is slowly moving on from the tragedy but admits he gets choked up whenever he discusses the sad incident.

He says, "You don't get over things like that. That's something that goes with you for the rest of your life. (You cope with) time to yourself. I'm not even comfortable talking about it."

Juvenile, who is preparing to release his first album since the slayings, admits he relied heavily on his loved ones during the trying time and would not have made it through without their support.

He adds, "I got (sic) a great wife, good brother, great momma. My family is good."

Juvenile will make his rap comeback with the release of Cocky & Confident in December (09), his first disc in three years.

Terrell, Jr. was charged with three counts of murder and three of aggravated assault, and is currently being held at Georgia's DeKalb County Jail.
